I have signed contracts with Dreamspinner Press for The Prince He Loved. I'm going off to celebrate with some cake and ice cream.

I just signed another contract with Torquere Press for Forgiving Valentine a Valentine's Day story that will be released in 2014. This is my third contract with them since October. I plan to write and send them a few more stories this year also.
In addition to that Auburnimp has returned and we're working on the Sakura Blades series again. We'll see how that goes.

Submitted another story, Sharing Tomorrow to Torquere Press Saturday--the 15th was the deadline for the theme I submitted to--and received the contract on Tuesday. I'm pretty happy with that and plan to submit more stories to them soon.
I also sent The Prince He Loved off to the publisher is was promised to, so we'll see how that goes.

The contest is over and I am contacting the winner by direct email. Thanks for playing!
I'll be giving away a necklace of semi-precious gemstones during the Blog Hop that's running from 1st December to 2nd December 2012 to one person who comments on this post. Necklace will be a tigerseye chip necklace. Due to international shipping rules winning this necklace is limited to residents of the United States.
So on to the questions:
What is your favorite part of the Holiday Season?
What is your favorite GLBTQ holiday book this year?

I suppose I forgot to post this. My cyberpunk m/m, Beneath an Emerald Sky has been sold to Torquere Press for their "Birthstones" line.
I plan to write another story for this line in the very near future. First though I'm busy putting the final touches on The Prince He Loved that scifi m/m I've mentioned before so I can get it sent out to the intended publisher in December.

I wrote Mercykill 4, Reaper's Delight for this year's NaNoWriMo. I started on November 1st and finished on the 16 with 98,655 words. Even for me that's fast and I set a new NaNo record for myself.
Edited to add: I verified Reaper's Delight and discovered the manual count I'd done of the individual chapters somehow missed a chapter. Turns out I had 108,703 words. Gah. I may have to do a bit of trimming on that book.

I was going through my old book files the other day and I stumbled on the two finished and one unfinished Mercykill books. I started reading them and realized how good they still are years later. That being the case, I decided to start writing the boys again. I'm nearly done with book three--which was my NaNoWriMo novel from 2007, man where did the time go?--and plan to do book 4 during this year's NaNo.
Now all I need to do is find a good home for the boys.

I've written three entirely new stories since my last post. The Strongest Magic, a male/female Halloween paranormal erotic romance; Distance of Memory a female/female/male fantasy erotic romance and Beneath an Emerald Sky a cyberpunk gay erotic romance. The first two are already off on submission, the third one will be going out next week. The three stories I finished this month were all for specific calls at various publishers. So now the waiting has begun. I'll keep you posted on what happens with the stories.

The Scifi m/m I was working in is finally finished. The title is 'The Prince He Loved'. Will work on the cleanup after NaNowWriMo is over. Right now I'm working on a new WIP for a Halloween special call, this one an m/f paranormal. I like to rotate between the sexual pairings so I don't get bored.
My NaNoWriMo project is going to be the as yet untitled sequel to In the Heart of Love, the second book in the Shifting Hearts series.

I'm working on an as yet unnamed scifi m/m as well as digging out some old material that was started and never completed with an eye to finishing the stories and sending them out to publishers.
The edit of Rocky Mountain Christmas is nearing completion. The newly revised story--formerly Let It Snow--will be out in November. I can't wait to see what readers think about the change from a contemporary to a paranormal. Still no bad guys, but hey, not every hero faces down evil.
